Service was poor and inattentive. My husband’s steak was not cooked correctly, (after charging a $5 cooking fee), salad was small, and nothing much but lettuce, potato had bad spots in it. My shrimp were huge but rather tough; it came with Texas toast which was toasted but plain. Butter was so hard it couldn’t be spread, nor melt on the potato. For 3 people, the cost was pretty high for the quality and service. We won’t return or recommend.

I do not take giving a single star lightly.
However, this experience doesn't deserve more.
This is a small restaurant tucked into an old building. The ambiance is dull and outdated.
A string of Walmart LEDs tucked into the ceiling tiles shows little effort to portray the high end restaurant they pretend to be.
I could've gotten a better ambience, and a steak for that matter, at Denny's.
Speaking of the steak. I ordered the Ribeye and the cut of meat was very tough with very little flavor.
The baked potato was barely bigger than an egg. Honestly.
Overall, this wouldn't have been such a disappointment till I got the check.
The steak was $38!!!
Then they add on $5 to cook it!!!
Seriously, what a tacky move.
That made this subpar cut of meat $43.
I would compare this to going into a Bar and ordering off the menu.
You go into it expecting (Bar food).
When I went into the Open Flame, I expected a high end food experience.
This was nowhere near it.
I can not recommend anyone waste your time and money visiting this place.

Old school restaurant. Food was good, server was new but still did a good job.
Walking in on a cool Saturday night, we were greeted with friendly smiles and seated pretty much immediately. Our server was kind and checked on us frequently, and the atmosphere was cozy. I ordered the Bacon Wrapped Sirloin, while my companion chose the New York Strip, both medium rare.
We started with the Onion Rings, which were a little too salty for us but still very delicious! Our steaks were a perfect medium rare, with large Texas toast on the side and a delicious assortment of potatoes. Thank you all for a lovely dining experience.

Overall we had a good experience. The wait staff was a bit short handed but very cordial and honest about wanting to be attentive to the group. We’d recommend looking at the steaks before ordering as we changed our minds after doing so. NY strips were quite small and lacked a whole lot of meat so we switched to a couple sirloins and ribeyes. Ribeyes were good but the sirloins were actually a better value. Rest of the food, toast, potato, fries, salads and onion rings were all very good. Could have used a drink, beer, wine menu. Good cozy atmosphere and fun to cook yourself if you choose. All in all a decent experience. Due to size of facility, weekend reservations recommended.
Be prepared to grill your own and take a group. This is a nice evening out. The staff is pleasant, food is good, the meat is excellent and ambiance would be fun gathered around the grill. Kind of quiet for just two, but we enjoyed ourselves.
I took my daughter and fiance here to celebrate their recent engagement. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our server checked with us frequently and was fast with refills and other requests. Gary (I think) the owner visited with us at the grill for several minutes. He told us about the history of the restaurant dating back to 1978. This was our first visit here. The steaks were outstanding. Some of the most tenderful and juicy steaks I've had, and the flavor was outstanding. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend it for any occasion. They've had several engagements take place there and even a couple of weddings! Great atmosphere also. Go there!
