When in Ames, Alluvial is a must stop for me and should be for all craft ? lovers. They are great at their craft and the quality has always been top tier regardless of style. Great venue with solid indoor & outdoor space to enjoy the farm setting.
Great place for some great brews. Love the setting, inside and out! Hang outside at various, comfortable patio areas on either side of brewery and inside there are many tables and a large area with a stage for musical acts. They have snacks (pita chips and pretzels) available, but you can bring in food as well. Kitschy fun with a Photo Booth in the corner too. 100% recommend this brewery!

What a gem! Tucked out in the countryside just outside of Ames, Alluvial is truly a hidden gem. It was so chill, charming, and a nice place to hang--cool decor and art. And the beers are absolutely fantastic. I'd highly recommend popping out there! Bonus: Prairie Moon Winery is right next door.
