It couldn't have been a more perfect experience! The Sweet chili Asian chicken Pizza was to die for. Cauliflower appetizer was awesome and the warm bread pudding and ice cream delicious. The staff was super friendly! Great job girls....did not disappoint.... I will be going back, well worth the short drive from Omaha.

Good brisket sandwich. Reasonable price. My wife liked her party melt. Friendly staff. Food came out quick.Long, narrow room. Several TV's but it didn't feel like sports bar. More like a place to eat and visit with family and friends.Should we get back to Glenwood, we will enjoy more food there.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an outside eating area which creates a relatively narrow entrance path. I don't think the door is automatic so someone would have to open the door for a wheelchair restricted person.Plenty of room inside for a wheelchair restricted person to move around.

I really try and support local but the last three trips to the Buck Snort have been really been disappointing with each trip a little worse then the last.Went in Sunday night and we were the only ones there at 7:45pm. Food was 2-star (fries were less than half cooked and the food had no taste) and gal taking order and bring food out was more concerted with her cell phone than the patrons. Sorry to harp on a local business but felt the need to be honest. Assuming the Mngt can’t fix something they don’t know is broken.

They have a large variety of unique burgers and sandwiches here. I recommend the Swamp Donkey(cheesburger topped with brisket and onion rings). Quite possibly the greatest name for a burger ever created. There are plenty of delicious fried sides as well. Pickles, cheeseballs, corn fritters, etc... Staff is friendly, and the food is usually always well made and delicious. The brick walls and decor give it a nice vibe as well. The bar is massive and gorgeous. It's worth making a quick stop simply to eat a burger and have a drink at the bar. There's a massive TV behind the bar and plenty more around the building as well.
Great steak salad and wonderful mushroom Swiss burger. Great onion rings.

I called at 8:15 and purchased two moose burgers. My burgers is missing the moose sauce, the bacon and only came with one egg when it supposed to be two. I also asked for barbecue and ranch and didn’t receive it. The first time I purchased my burger came out perfect and was so delicious so I’m really upset about it. I even tipped smh.I can’t call to have it fixed because they closed at 9pm. My fault For not checking my food I guess.

last four times I ordered their pulled pork sandwich combo I've got rubber hard crunchy dried out skin. a poor excuse for a meal to serve to YOUR community. I will no longer trust their kitchen or the servers who actually check the food and still give it out. absolutely disgusting meat

Exploring the Loess Hills area and stopped in Glenwood to find dinner. The Buck Snort got good reviews so we decided to give it a try. Sunday evening (Labor Day weekend) around 5:30PM it was pretty quiet so we chose a spot at the bar. Jill brought us menus, water and took our drink orders right away. There are local brewery options on tap but I went with my favorite Mango Cart and my husband went for a bottled Miller Lite. The menu had so many interesting looking, original items and it was hard to choose, but we settled on the Grunt Snort Wheeze burger with a side of tots and the Non-Typical Buck burger with a side of fries requested very crispy. We watched the Twins game as we drank our beer and waited for the orders to come out. It wasn’t long after we ordered that a few large groups came in and the place became pretty busy. It didn’t take long for the food and it looked great! My burger had brisket, grilled jalapeños, a fried egg, cheese, and bbq sauce. It was the perfect combination of a little spice and a little sweet and I loved it. My husbands burger had juicy pulled pork, mozzarella sticks, and bbq sauce. Both burgers were loaded with the toppings and were delicious. The tots and fries were both very crispy and perfectly cooked the way we enjoy them with a little crunch. The atmosphere is small town, friendly and the food is very good! I could go back and try everything on the menu if it was closer to home because the choices all looked great. The price was very reasonable at $35 for the two meals and our drinks. Definitely a place to stop when you are near Glenwood.

After we paid for our food the young lady that checked us in was more concerned about picking the phone back up then she was with getting us a cup…. Or a number for the table…. Or any acknowledgment at all!! We stood there dumbfounded, waiting for her to say SOMETHING! Luckily Danielle walked in and got us our beer/cups/ranch/To go box/and followed up to make sure we were doing ok throughout our meal!
