While on our way home from vacation, we stopped overnight in Hamburg, Iowa. After unpacking our overnight bag at the local Hamburg Inn, we decided to grab a bite to eat. Since the Blue Moon was the only restaurant in town we decided we would eat there. If you stop over in Hamburg, Iowa, you will want to grab a bite at the Blue Moon Bar and Grill. It is neat and clean, family friendly and great freshly prepared food, served with a smile! My next trip into Hamburg will be a destination trip and not just a stop over!

Hadn't eaten there since the 80's. Delicious Swiss Mushroom Burger and Patty Melt. Waitress was very friendly and even did some music trivia with us. Owner chatted with us on the way out and again very friendly.
