Quaint family winery with nice outdoor and indoor seating. Very friendly people and great wine!
We asked Google to find a Winery in our general area it pulled up a few, and this one we had not heard of. We took off to Hansell, Iowa and TownsEnd. Vernon and Judy were great hosts, the wine flavors are great, and the winery on their place is awesome. We brought home 5 flavors and 2 glasses. Go there!

Spent the night at TownsEnd Winery in Hansell IA. The wine tasting was terrific and so many! We settled on a couple bottles and sat outside sippin on some wine. JoAnn was wonderful and had a few stories to tell. As we walked around the grounds we got to meet Vernon, the owner. He is a super nice guy and has a few stories to tell. The wines are delicious. If you are passing thru the area, make it a point to stop in.
Great little winery! Very knowledgeable and fun staff! If it says they are “CLOSED”- call them! Most likely they are open!
We stayed at the winery through Harvest Host. Such a beautiful vineyard and many types of wine to try. Worth the trip to visit!

Absolutely incredible tasting experience at the winery with Vernon and Judy! They were delightful people to spend some time with and the wines were amazing. We are bringing quite a few home with us to Wisconsin. So glad we stopped at this Harvest Host location!
