We stopped for dinner after working on our house all day because we had heard the food was great. It took over 15 minutes to get menus and over 30 minutes and two trips to the bar to be able to order. The bartender had a disgusting attitude. Didn’t realize it was cash only but not a deal breaker for us. The dark haired woman that I assume runs the kitchen was wonderful though. She came to take our order after my husband went to the bar for the second time. She also rushed our food after she found out we were waiting so long and was incredibly apologetic. We finished our meal and asked the bartender for our check when she finally stopped over, over an hour after we walked in. She didn’t much like when her snarky attitude was finally reciprocated and proceeded to go back to the bar, do the Cupid Shuffle, and ignore us for another 10 minutes. While making sure to chat up every other person in the place. While I was calculating our own tab so we could leave cash and go, the sweet woman running the kitchen came back out and got our check for us. We’re understanding people, especially if it’s busy, but the bartender’s chip on her shoulder and attitude towards anyone that weren’t regulars made for a super unwelcoming experience. We likely won’t be back, which is unfortunate because we love finding new local spots and it’s so close to us.
