“After coming here for a year I highly recommend the Farmacy. The staff is always super friendly. This place is a good place to take your friends and family to talk and chat. Their coffee is the best in town and their sandwiches are great. The best ice cream here is hands down the cherry amaretto. Sometimes for dessert they bring out specials that can be really good.”

“Visited the Hillside from the UK in Feb '26. Cash only so make sure you have a bunch. Great staff, really friendly and fantastic service! They serve a good range of drinks. Atmosphere is great with that small town vibe, met some great local people here. Really enjoyed my nights in here.. I will be back!”

“This Subway in Ida Grove, IA is very different from others. I’ve been here for 72 hours, and I haven’t experienced anything like it anywhere else in the United States. When I walked in, everyone greeted me and waved. The customer service is very friendly and welcoming. It feels like a nice, safe place with great service.””

“I always liked Backdraft, the food was great. But I've had to start limiting what I ordered. the brisket started to become hit or miss. Sometimes it was flavorful and fell apart. Other times it was like chewing rubber or excessively fatty and tasted like it was leftovers reheated. On a recent visit we ordered pizza and the crust wasn't cooked and very chewy and tough. the brisket on the pizza had a lot of fat chunks, and the brisket was very tough, and tasted old, we had to pick it off. the cream cheese was in massive chunks. It wasn't made like how they use to be made. Try it for yourselves, like i said, it use to be great but it's now hit or miss.”

“Food was great, forgot our fries but it was busy so, understandable. The cashier seemed impatient and pushy. He was probably feeling the pressure. We were just stopping for food then getting back on the road so we didn't stay there long enough for may negative review. Overall, we were satisfied.”
