If you look at the etymology behind the words "company" and "companion", the French "copain" and "copine", and the Spanish "compaña", you will find the root word "pan".....bread. All of these words have their basis in the gathering of friends and family to break bread and spend time with each other. That is the sense of community that Deja and her employees create every day at Savor the Rise. It is a place to sit, people watch, and enjoy a matcha latte. It is a place to gather with friends before work. It is a place to smile at strangers and hold conversations with people who you may never see again after the few hours you spend sitting at the large, community-sized table in the center of the shop. And whoever you may be, you are greeted with a smile and a sincere "How are you?" If you are looking for a local place to buy your weekly bread (the rye is amazing, by the way), a special treat for yourself when you need a pick-me-up, or you just want to try something new from an amazing local establishment with a menu full of delicious sweet and savory options, give Savor the Rise a try.

Best turkey club I’ve had in a restaurant! Delicious drink (The Rise) and the vibes made me feel like I was on vacation. Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed avocado toast, coconut cake and coffee here last week. Love the cozy atmosphere! Staff are very nice and accommodating. The barista “hotted “ my ceramic coffee cup ! Something I do at home to keep my coffee hot longer. The coffee was tasty for self serve. Avocado toast was very flavorful and served on a vintage plate. I love these details! Arrived shortly after 9:00 on a Friday. Slim pickings for pastry. Fresh batch out before I left. Definitely return!

The market toast meat was cold and tasted like the smell of a wet dog. Also ordered the avocado toast and the egg squirted on me in the truck and I spent the rest of the day smelling like a fart. Also, it took nearly 20 minutes to get my order with TWO pieces of toast(and nobody in front of me) The avocado toast was flavorless and the whole transaction was overpriced… 2 small coffees, two toasts, and a small danish was almost $$50 the danish pastry was excellent, the coffee was pretty good too. The rest of it was extremely disappointing. If you’re looking to purchase anything here make sure it’s not toast.

A beautiful oasis in this small town. I had a perfect latte and a tomato, pesto and cheese pastry that was to die for. They also have a array of infused olive oils for sale. The vibe is super relaxing. Will definitely make this a stop when I visit

An absolute hidden gem! This charming spot is welcoming, unique, and serves delicious treats that bring smiles to everyone. My daughter said it fills her with happiness—and I couldn't agree more. The dad sandwich is insanely good and the twice baked almond croissant was the best I've had in years! Savor the Rise is a truly special place!
