First time my wife and I took a morning coffee date. (We're not even coffee drinkers) We looked up coffee shops in indianola and found this place. It was a nice change of pace and scenery from our usual adventures. This place is a vibe all on its own. We will definitely be repeat customers.

I stopped in today for my first time wanting a Americano coffee. I was expecting a strong, bold drink like an Americano should be. Especially when it costs $4.85 for a 16 Oz. cup. I am extremely disappointed!
The coffee at Casey's is better and for much less. And stronger.
I will not be going back.
The service was good, otherwise I would only have given 1 star.

Love their breakfast sandwiches and all of their coffees! The new owners are attentive and kind. Highly recommend! I drive from DSM just to meet my friend here once a week, I love it so much 🙂

I don't usually take the time to review any bad experiences based on one time experience but...... I was treated so disrespectful and yelled at by the owner and her mother! I went in to try this place for the first time. I ordered a simple chicken salad in a croissant. There was one order ahead of mine. The owner was standing with what seemed to be a new employee. They were playing with a young child who was hiding in a cabinet at the front counter. The mother was making two sandwiches for the customers in front of me. I understand totally serving customers as they order. This was not the problem as the owner and mother seemed to only address once I asked if I could get my sandwich to go. The mother was extremely slow and had not even completed ONE sandwich after waiting for sometime. As a customer I feel serving your customers in a timely manner especially when they only have a certain amount of time for lunch is important. I've been in the food service industry for over 35 years, our number one priority is to serve our customers as quickly as possible with quality food and kindness. The mother was microwaving some bacon and while the microwave was on she stood and watched it instead of starting the next sandwich. Time management and multitasking in a restaurant is one of our top priorities for our customers. Once I asked for my sandwich to go I actually got yelled at by the owner!!!!!!!!! I was so appalled by her response to my needs as her customer and her feeling playing with a child and not helping with making the orders was more important and I was in the wrong. This is so unprofessional that I will never be returning to this place again. I am glad that I see others have had a nice visit and I wish them well as a business but please always remember that your customers should be your number one priority and getting them served in a timely and friendly manner not being yelled at when you ask for your sandwich to go. I wish I had recorded all the nasty things they spoke to me. It was like they didn't even care that I needed to get back to work. I finally after being verbally attacked asked for my money back.

We have been several times in the law few weeks and it’s been perfect every time. Veggie frittata is a must try, best I’ve had! My iced coffees have all be the perfect balance. Not too sweet. Scones and muffins are also so good. Grabbed a blackberry lavender scone for my daughter in law and she said it was very good. Great atmosphere also!
The staff was friendly. My iced
Americana looked like iced tea. It was the weakest coffee I have ever had. I returned the drink to the staff. The drink was honestly horrible. We were in a hurry to get to an appt so I told them don't worry about a refund. Was little disspointed when I returned my coffee to the front the girl that made my coffee was talking to a co worker about how I was griping about my coffee. We have been here multiple times with the previous owners.

My daughter and I had to try out this coffee shop after it reopened!
She liked the games and atmosphere before it closed.
We both loved it! The coffee was good, breakfast foods were delicious, everything was a good price, service was so kind, the remodel was beautiful and cozy, and it was a perfect atmosphere for all ages!!! We both highly recommend and it is probably our top choice now as a family!
Also, probably the best donuts in town!

Definitely where the locals go! We enjoyed a delicious slice of ham and Swiss quiche and coffee while visiting the Indianola square. I highly recommend!
