I spent the summer in Iowa this year and loved the Zoo! The bartenders are so fun and welcoming and the whole atmosphere they create is amazing! Me and my coworkers went all the time and I celebrated my birthday there, 10/10 experience!

Had a great experience chatting with Brooks while enjoying some draft beers. In fact, He went above and beyond finding a restaurant that was open on Fathers Day.
Super impressed, and hopefully we will get to stop at the Zoo on a future road trip.

A phenomenal locale. Great drinks, bartenders and atmosphere. And when the hunger hits, the pizza is exactly the right solution.
I had not been to the Zoo in many years but I had a wonderful time with my wife and old friends. It wasn't too crowded so we didn't feel cramped and the bar tenders were attentive. It's great for a small group especially on an "off night" so not Friday or Saturday night, if you are looking to have fun but not the crowds.
Kid-friendliness: It is a bar so no one is allowed under 21 years of age.
