Great appetizers. Ordered two different kinds of paneer dishes and they made the same thing twice. Both tasteless and bad, we didn’t eat.

We don’t live in Iowa City anymore but we’re feeling Indian food when we were in the area. Tried the butter chicken, tofu tikka, and garlic naan. Butter chicken was super dry and barely had any curry. Tikka was soooooo bland and the rice served with the food was dry and clumpy. Overall good prices in comparison, but not great.

DON’T USE UBER EATS TO ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. The Uber Eats app only allows you to choose one topping on their gyro so I ended up with a pita, a bunch of lamb (yay) and a little tatziki sauce. Of course Uber makes it impossible to report this to their support. Do they even have support?? My gyro, although a bit baron, was tasty and garlic naan was good too. The fries were limp with no salt but I didn’t even realize I was getting fries so no loss there. I will get food from them again but not thru a delivery service.

The chef and the owner, Mr. Zameer Khan is the best in delicacy and we are happy to have dinner in his restaurant with varieties of cuisine.

Best Indian food in Iowa City/ Coralville but the owner cooks everything so sometimes he doesn’t take orders or wait could be at least 20 mins. The wait is worth it and his beef gyros, tandoori chicken, chicken 65, butter chicken, nan, chole-bature, samosa are very good

Vegetarian options: Chickpeas, paneer, and potato based items are available.

If you're looking for a proper dine-in experience then this place is short of that. However they are more of a to go order or sit wherever you can find a seat in the mall type place. Of course they have a few seats right next to it for your convenience. Besides this they have good vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for their to go menu. Our server/chef was really accommodating as well. We initially ordered Dal Makhni but it wasn't available at that time of the day, so the chef recommended us Malai Kofta instead and it came out really tasty and good. Their garlic naans are crazy tasty, plus the chicken Karhai felt like home made. Even the rice had some flavor to it which everyone enjoyed to its fullest. For an Indian palette you'd love the food here. I'm definitely coming here again.

Vegetarian options: Malai Kofta, Dal Makhni, Korma and many more.
