Really need to work on counter service. Acknowledging customers and not hiding in the back.
This would include the manager. Service is not good
Must be closed...some guy behind counter cleaning up ignored me so moved on to dunkins just round the corner...cheaper anyway.
I was in today with my family and extremely disappointed in the service. They first of all got our order incorrect and didn’t apologize or rectify the issue. They also forgot one of the coffees and the manager said we had it even though we ordered 7 drinks and only received 6 of them. Will never be back.
Rude manager/cashier
Food was great, cashier was rude and impatient.
Love their bagels! Makes grocery store bagels look sick. Had what we needed.
The food bagels were amazing, but they gave me the wrong extra bagels! Wanted the cinnamon sugar and they gave me cinnamon raisin ! Live 90mins away so not happy with that! Plus not very clean, or friendly!
Great place. Awesome customer service.
Thhis is my favorite Bruegger's Bagels to go to! The staff are friendly and welcoming. My order is right and fresh and the mocha is tasty! I recommend the rosemary and olive oil bagels :)
Slowest seevice, took more than 25 minutes to get a friggin bagel sandwich!! Either hire more people or be more efficient!!

Had a great experience. Food was great, service was excellent. Thanks for letting us hang out.
Overall bad experience. Walked in and (manager/owner?) is very unfriendly and acts like he doesn’t want to be there. The sandwiches were poorly made with minimal ingredients. The shop looks messy and unkept. One star is too many
This is definitely not the Bruegger's of long ago. We go to the Iowa City location frequently. We were in yesterday to pick up two breakfast sandwiches. The Saturday just prior to Christmas there were TWO staff (appeared to be young students?) to make all breakfast orders and moving at a more than comfortable pace, honestly super slow, chatting the whole time while working. It was especially busy. We waited 45 minutes! Two other older staff members (1 manager?), rather than jumping in to rush the remaining orders through, spent time explaining "we are doing the best we can". We were parked directly in front of the building & had to feed our meter 3 times! I watched multiple times customers being told they "ran out of hashbrowns" and the customers were not refunded their money & I heard no mention of anything offered in replacement. A longer wait is understandable but this was ridiculous. Lastly, most every visit our favorite bagels are gone. They definitely run with low offerings of anything besides the basics. Very poorly run business. Expensive for such a "wait forever" for what you get. We will find another regular spot to spend money. Geez.

Ordered a plain bagel with plain cream cheese. The bagel looked sad and oddly glossy. There was some random vegetables in my cream cheese. And to top it off, there was a greasy, red mystery sauce that was smeared not only on the paper covering the bagel, but the bagel itself!
It just makes you wonder about how clean those two employees actually are. Based on my bagel I had to throw away, because who knows what else could've been on it, NOT VERY.
