We sat outside in the middle of the pedestrian mall, which is always entertaining. Service service was good from a nice normal person. It's basically bar food. The burgers were overcooked, but the taste of the beef was good. They only used iceberg lettuce, the fries were overcooked, and they were very crisp and greasy. The egg on the burger was fried so hard it was c rispy brown. I thought everyone knew a burger with egg has to have a slightly runny yolk to be delicious. The gimlet was soapy and had to be returned. The onion rings were overcooked. For 45 dollars, it was pretty disappointing, and I don't believe the ratings online. If you want a great burger, try cafe beadelaire in ames, iowa.

Highly recommend! Had the best experience here! The server we had was efficient and very nice. We got the pretzel with queso, the BALT burger, and a Butterscotch Willy Nilly bar. Everything was a 10/10. Even got to talk to the owner and learn more about the restaurant. Very personable.

Grabbed a pork tenderloin sandwich and some wine for a quick snack near closing. Happy to have found them. Sandwich was very good and quite fresh. Owner greeted us and thanked us for visiting. A great addition with many outdoor tables on ped mall.

The burger and tenderloin we had were great. We love a good local place to go when we visit the area. The owner welcomed everyone, and service was stellar.

The food was amazing and the service was spectacular. This is a must stop if you are in the area. The owner/cook came out and was very friendly. We enjoyed our conversation and he made sure the food was to our liking. In addition the server was very helpful in making great choices for our burgers and the ice cream sandwich is a must have… save room!!

Visited BH for lunch and while the service was great and attentive, the food was lack luster. Very run of the mill burgers with little seasoning. Kind of just like any burger you’d grill at home. Chicken sandwich was dry and seemed to be frozen beforehand. I think a lot of things are double fried but to a fault, like the onion haystack. Mine were so over fried they didn’t even taste like onion anymore, just fryer oil. The interior is just like any other downtown bar and pub. No real decor or ambiance. Our waiter was amazing though and very sweet. Very on top of things despite having little staff. We really appreciated them.
