I ordered on DoorDash at 8:59 pm not realizing they closed at 9 pm. I tried to cancel my order but it wouldn’t let me; I felt incredibly bad because after working in food service, there’s nothing I hate more than ordering right before close. With that said, China Wok still prepared my order incredibly quickly, and the taste and quality was just as good as it always is. I absolutely would recommend China Wok.

I have never had such a bad experience with a restaurant in my life! The woman yelled because they messed up my order and then told me there was nothing she could do because she made it correctly. I asked for chow mein and she gave me chop suey over rice. Never again and if you’re smart you wouldn’t go there either. I wish I could give a negative rating. The pic on the right is what received and the one on the left is what I ordered.

Delicious dishes at really reasonable prices. And their current contactless pickup is the best I've seen in Iowa City. Highly recommend the tofu and mixed vegetables. And the fried rice is perfect.
