I stop in every once and awhile but today specifically I stopped in around 11:30 and the girl that took my order was very rude and disrespectful. I never have an issue coming here but if that's how they want to treat their customers then I don't know if anyone wants to deal with that type of disrespect.

Every summer when I was little, Cookies & More was one of the highlights of the trip we’d take out to the Midwest to see family and two decades later even though we don’t visit Iowa City as much anymore, my mom surprises me every now and then by shipping out a bucket of their monster cookies. I can’t say I’ve tried any cookie other than the monster cookie because we’d just order about four dozen of them and that was the only kind we needed honestly.I just started a new job and was pleasantly surprised by a bucket of monster cookies in my mail box and it’s brightened up my week. Treat yourself to a monster cookie for me if you live nearby! Absolutely recommend!!

If you asked me where to get classic cookies in Iowa City, it would be Cookies & More. They're the perfect size, texture and taste. $2.25/each or 6 for $12. I live for the nostalgic storefront. It reminds me of the malls from the 80s and 90s - the kind I grew up visiting. The storefront could be dropped right on the set of Stranger Things. Friendly customer service. The selection was really good at 11:30 on a Wednesday morning. Favorite flavors: chocolate chip, pecan chocolate chip, monster and peanut butter.

Let's get straight to the point here, I didn't think the cookies were anything special. Nothing particularly stood out about them except that they are cheap, $1.50 each. I bought the dozen on a pinch to take to a friend's house for lunch. Mission accomplished because they really enjoyed the double chocolate cookies. I, however, thought both types were mediocre. They weren't served warm. They had a normal amount of chocolate chips. The cookie flavors were typical. Overall, I think the cookies are rather commonplace. Although the cookies were mediocre, I should give mention to the friendly employees who were pleasant and efficient.
Literally the best chocolate chip cookie ever. It's a basic chocolate chip cookie done perfectly, and they somehow are still melty whenever you buy them. If you're looking for a simple, cheap, delicious cookie; this is the spot.

Cookies are delicious and have tasted the same for 25+ years. Also the staff have never been rude to me or anyone I've seen in line. I would venture the reviewers who complained probably are accustomed to being rude without getting it thrown back at them:]The oatmeal raisin is my favorite and is really really good. My runners up are the sugar and crunchy chocolate with a monster honorable mention. If you are just passing through they freeze /defrost really well too.

I’m just putting a 5 star review for all the lower reviews who complained about students and then being busy... /how the cookies taste. Not everyone is going to like what you like and not everyones top priority is to get you a cookie as fast as they can it’s to do their job which is more than just bring you a cookie they are students.. they have a lot on their minds don’t put a 2 star review for one bad experience... 5 stars! May your business thrive! I’m on my way to get cookies now as a matter fact??
