Nice corner location for this cute coffee shop!It is adorable, and there are a few seats to sit inside and attached with clothing store. Selected menu but amazing authentic coffee “best Vanilla coffee”. I will definitely come here again when I’m back in university campus.

Fantastic local coffee spot in the heart of Iowa City's Ped Mall! I've only tried their Cortado, but it's the best that I've ever had!! Smooth, balanced, rich flavor that's not bitter. The space is intimate and inviting. A great spot to read, study, or just relax and watch the world go by. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate about what they serve. That translates to an attention to detail that I appreciate very much! Very much worth checking out!

Enjoy the figgy drink (with espresso) in a sunlit, plant-filled atmosphere. Great owner, great coffee, great vibes.

LOVE Daydrink. It's tricky to find if you're a first timer, so just trust your Maps and walk through Basic Goods (the plant and everything else shop) to get to Daydrink. The staff were super friendly and helpful for a first timer like myself. The vibe was incredible with a handful of two person tables against the window surrounded by plants. They have some light food but don't expect to leave with a full meal. Coffee is served in glass jars that you can bring back (or just bring your own reusable cup) for a discount.

As we travel we the country we make sure to stop in towns and try the local coffee shop. Daydrink was our stop in Iowa City! So glad we chose this awesome corner coffee shop! We not only had an amazing latte but we met one of the owners and had an amazing connection!! Michael we can wait to share coffee recommendations, life aspirations, travel destinations and hopefully see you in Oregon someday soon! Definitely make the visit if you’re near Iowa city!

They have the BEST matcha in town. They even prepare it as you would in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. I am a huge fan of matcha and have never bought such good cafe matcha. 11/10.

The best coffee shop in the area and these guys can compete with the best baristas in the nation (and they do, in actual competitions). Their choice of coffee beans (some of which are roasted in house) is great and they do espresso and espresso drinks really well. Unlike most coffee shops, these guys use light/medium roasted specialty coffee for their espresso which makes the (oat) milk based drinks even more complex -- and not bitter. In addition, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff make it a perfect spot to unwind. I highly recommend this coffee shop for a delightful coffee experience! ?????

I love coming here. It's my favorite spot to get a chai in town because it's not too sweet, not too spicy. They have a jar program that encourages people to be more mindful of their impact on the environment -- which I think is awesome! While it does cost more than I would like, I'm okay with it because I want to support any local business owners. Cheers to Daydrink, thanks for being an awesome local spot.

This is a coffee enthusiast's coffee spot. The owner is very legit and knows his coffee and all baristas make an amazing cup. The pour overs, drip and cold brews are all excellent. If you are looking for an exceptional cup of coffee, Daydrink is a must visit.

Barista was friendly, however the seasonal creamsicle latte was not good & tasted spoiled? The lattes all come with oat milk & inside a jar with an extra & mandatory $1 for it ($7 total). Unfortunately, I found the the plant presence very overwhelming.

Such a gem in the Iowa City ped mall! The vegan scones are my favorite!

When thinking on what to write about this place, I just can't get around believing that it's one of the best places you can patron... seriously. The people are great. The atmosphere is great (even though they play Shrek a lot). The coffee? Great.Genuinely, I have learned more about coffee from these guys than anywhere else in the world - it's almost kind of a negative because now I can't go to places that are everywhere (i.e., Starbucks) because they just don't taste right to me anymore. Matter of fact, Daydrink does such a great job with their coffee that I don't even consider it to be the same drink as something you'd get from other ~popular~ places. Daydrink transcends. Daydrink has opened up my third (coffee) eye. And I think that's special. On top of all of this, it's somewhere that is open to everyone. I have been many times and I have never seen a person come in and feel like they're not welcome there - to one up that, I don't think there's been a person that goes to grab a coffee that leaves without feeling like a friend. These are the homies, and these homies know how to do it right.p.s., I also met the tallest person I've ever seen at Daydrink... Keep an eye out for Ed, man's the most gentle giant in the game.(and tell him I said hi)

Absolutely obsessed with Daydrink, not only is it located inside a small local plant shop (that’s also amazing), but the espresso drinks are fantastic. I try to get something different every time I go but my top two for sure are the figgy and their seasonal pumpkin spice. Today I tried their dreamsicle hot and oh my, SO good. Prices are so good too. $5 for a coffee drink? And it’s delicious every time? Count me in. Makes my $8 Scooters order yesterday feel pathetic. I hope this place stays around forever. My favorite afternoon pick me up and the coffee place I take all my visiting friends and family.
