We used to go to DC's a few years back and the food/service were good.Went there tonight, food was horrible, service was lacking.We will not be going back.

I made my best friends and memories at this bar. By far the most friendly staff of any bar in Iowa City with the best bang for your buck beverage menu. Every time I return to Iowa City I will visit this establishment out of respect for how good it has been to me and the rest of its guests.

I was looking up bars with a good cocktail menu and saw this place online and some of the drinks sounded good but there were no pictures so I decided to go here to see what's up as it was my first time visiting a bar in Iowa City. So I go and it's a stereotypical sports bar with expensive appetizers, ok whatever, I didn't go for the food. I literally only went to meet up with someone and have a few drinks. I asked for the drink menu and the waitress disappeared for a while, came back and told me that she couldn't find one ?The vibe was really off. I thought it was just nerves.... Idk I felt uncomfortable. I had 2 shots and then after only 20 minutes being there, I asked my date if we could leave.

If you like good food or good service, you won’t find that here. Somehow the food was actually worse than the service. And the service was non existent, if you’re from out of town and want food literally anywhere is better than here

Dc’s is an age’ist establishment with abrasive and rude staff. I’m a very open-minded person but I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!!

After a chill 6 years between both of my sisters attending UI, I can firmly say that I've never had a bad night at DC's. This tri-level establishment has delicious brews and while it can get pretty packed, it's always a good time if you're there with your friends. Watch out for their specials - some nights they have deals with steins where you can get a gigantic glass of some IPA or heavy beer at 8 or 9 percent. I will admit that it helps if you have connections behind the bar - as some friends always have to give some "test" concoctions to their friends to test whether a certain mix of booze will appeal to the masses. If you attend the University of Iowa, definitely stop by DC's to meet new friends, experience the UI college life, and make memories that you will never be able to replicate in the real world. Life's good.
Nice big beer, service was pretty non existent. The wing sauce is decent, but the breaded crunchy chicken crusts they call "boneless wings" are so mediocre I didn't feel the need to order any more even though they were bottomless and I was still hungry.
