Won’t go again! Once a year my wife talks me into going back and every time they mess my order up, the pastries are dry, and organization is horrible. It’s fine if you want to keep your small bakery feel, but my goodness it is so easy to just print a ticket with someone’s name and put it next to the order as you set it out! Had a donut once that was super dry and seemed like it was a day old, Nutella and chocolate pastries hardly have anything in the middle- just not worth it.

We are so glad we chose Deluxe for our wedding! 🩷 They created the sweetest one-tier cake for our cake cutting—strawberry vanilla with confetti—and it was great!!
For our guests, we offered a variety of sheet cakes, and Deluxe went above and beyond with six amazing flavors (because how could you possibly choose just one!): marble, carrot, lemon raspberry, German chocolate, strawberry vanilla confetti, and red velvet. Every single one was a hit—we kept hearing rave reviews from our friends and family for weeks after the wedding!!!

Deluxe is in such a great neighborhood in Iowa City. We wanted Deluxe for our wedding cakes and so happy we went with them! They have so many great flavor options, we went with vanilla, vanilla strawberry, chocolate, and chocolate mocha raspberry. We went over different styles and they created the cakes exactly how we decided! Everything was super smooth!
10/10 experience each time I'm here! Love the atmosphere and the staff are so nice and helpful! Fan favorite is the Nutella crissonts. The savory ones are excellent 👌🏼 I had a pepperoni/mozzarella/bell pepper croissant this morning and it was delicious!

I ordered a Nutella croissant and specifically asked if it was filled with Nutella—they confirmed it was. Unfortunately, when I received it, there was barely (if any) Nutella inside. It was dry, mostly plain pastry, and definitely not what was promised. I reached out to let them know, but they never acknowledged the complaint. Poor quality and even worse customer service.
