I made a reservation here at 7:15 on a tuesday night and I understand that it is busy because of deals. The host put our name down for a table in the same list as walk ins, we had to wait 30-35 minutes to get our table for two when we had a reservation. No point of a reservation at that point.

Went for the Tuesday night which they host a variety of specials. They offer a variety of cocktails for $3 and $4!!! With a huge variety of basic sushi rolls at $4 and specialty rolls at $9. We ate at the bar and service was amazing. They only had one bar tender and it was a pretty busy night. She did amazing job and kept our drinks full, and guided me through some of the local favorites. Will definitely go back ❤️

Showed up for a 6:45 reservation at 6:35. Told us we had to wait 20 minutes. It’s 7pm and we still haven’t been sat.

Sushi is just eh. But it definitely hits the spot. Especially for the deals. 4 dollars for some basic sushi is great during the happy hour period. Drinks are also nicely priced.

Great experience. Some very Iowa sushi options with beef. I had one roll that had mango & avocado with a mango cream of sorts. It was GREAT for an ending.

My husband and I had reservations here. It’s a nice restaurant, with a lot of space. Friendly and fast service. Food was very good. But I looked closely at the bottle of soy sauce that was on the table, and it was covered in gunk. It seriously looked like it had never been cleaned. My silverware was also dirty. So that was definitely a let down. I think we’ll just stick to Sumo over on Washington st next time.

Don’t bother making a reservation, they don’t train staff how to hold one. Even if you show up respectfully on time you will wait 20-30 minutes because they don’t time tables correctly ever. Love the food though and the drinks!

The best crab rangoons around! Beautiful plates of food. Great place to celebrate a birthday!

Located near a parking garage makes it easy to park even though it’s downtown. The sushi and drink menu are large and definitely has something for everyone (even if you aren’t a fan of sushi!) Their signature roll “The Formosa” is a MUST try! Within walking distance of lots of wonderful downtown sights.

Amazing experience here! The food is great and affordable, especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays when they serve 4 dollar basic rolls.
