I ordered two Polish dogs from this place and what I got was completely opposite to what was advertised in the picture. It was almost as if they just threw two warm Polish dogs into a microwave and onto a bun with no mustard and no grilled onion. Definitely save your time from ordering this or not going to this place at all.

A very Solid “Meh”. & that is being generous. IC can do better w/gyros. Mine was reheated sliced meat. I think Casey’s roller dog for $3 is way better than their $8 Chicago dog. And-no bathrooms? How even possible?

Good food for being open so late I’m surprised the reviews had me worried, try it for yourself the fry’s was crispy be like they’re supposed to be gyro was good for being a more fast paced open late place and price wasn’t bad I got 2 gyro 2 fry’s and 6 Tzatziki sides for 31$ portions were

Food was mediocre—But what you see in the picture was literally $20. Before the tip. And even tho the girl acted out out when I asked for salt and a fork she still of course expects a tip. Fries and a Gyro 20$. I ordered extra meat but I’m not sure where the lady put it. Maybe in her pocket? The portion was small. The flavor of the meat was lacking and blan. The fries were dry and old. I gave it 2 Stars instead of one because I liked the hot sauce. Food in downtown Iowa city is getting more and more ridiculous in price. But this is ludicrous. I will definitely not be returning to this place ever. If you want a good gyro then find Hicks gyros, which is a food truck. They are delicious, bigger, and less expensive.

Went late evening...first, couldn't get in b/c bunch of people sitting & blocking stairs to the front door. Wife asked to unlock restroom, staff says "that NOT a restroom" when the sign reads Restroom!The gentleman busy chit chatting with friend vs helping guests. Not very sanitary, in terms of food handling practices either...and selling gyros out of a steam well versus the spit (gyros rotisserie)
