World Famous Chicken Lips
Chicken Lips are boneless chicken breast strips breaded with flour and buttermilk, then fried and tossed in our Spicy Lip Sauce, (think Buffalo sauce).
Evan's Meatballs
Our Italian Meatballs are made with beef, pork and veal, plus a ton of Reggiano Parmigiano, garlic and fresh basil. They are simmered in marinara sauce, covered with mozzarella and baked.
Chicken Parmesan
Chicken breast, pounded thin, rolled in egg wash and seasoned Italian bread crumbs. Pan sautéed until golden brown and crispy. Topped with marinara, mozzarella and baked til golden brown and gorgeous. Finished with Reggiano Parmigiano.
Street Tacos
Your choice of delicious meat served with hand made corn and flour tortillas and house made salsas.
"Stuffed" Tacos

Ava was incredibly helpful and informative. Also super sweet. They offer free water which is incredibly important during these summer months. The culture is inclusive, and Ava was extremely compassionate with a little girl when picking out a lolly pop. It’s the small things when interacting with customers and she was exemplary.

You can’t get any better pizza in Iowa in my opinion. Fermented sourdough crust is where it’s at and it’s so good!! We also love the chicken lips! The owner, Peter, is so incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Thanks for sharing your food with us!

Amazing food, amazing service! Chicken lips of course are a go to but don’t forget about the pizza. Honestly, the best pizza in Iowa City. Oh and the tacos, so delicious. Crème brûlée for dessert, yes please.

Everyone that visits is treated like friends. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and wants to make sure everything is as expected. We visit often for the food but also because of the outstanding staff.
