Caprese Chicken

“This was the first cafe I’ve tried in Iowa city bc I’m here for the summer and oh my god it is SO GOOD. 100% recommend. I’ve been eating packed lunch sandwiches that the dorm RA’s have been handing out and they were just not it. Bread was too thick, too much ham and not enough provolone or lettuce, etc. I’ve been feeling sick this past week because of those sandwiches so I decided to switch it up and try a nearby cafe instead. And wow. Service was great, the employees are kind, their latte was spectacular I felt like I was ascending into the sky. Sandwich was delicious, perfect proportions between the ingredients I would gladly return back the next chance I get. My lunch time today has immensely enhanced my day and productivity ???❤️?I love you java house coffee roasters“

“Omg, this is my new favorite lunch in Iowa City ? I can't speak to the service in the restaurant since I used Doordash but WOW, absolutely delicious tomato soup and a perfect sandwich generously loaded with veggies. The soup is definitely made from scratch, and the bread tastes homemade too. So special. Just ordered again because I was craving it ?“

“I've been here quite a few times and have always gotten a Tea Bomb because they're so good. Today I tried the Cherry Dilly Shake and it was delicious too. Over the years the Menu has definitely evolved and I like the additions. However, it is a little confusing that some of the old menus are still up with the new and now there are order slips that don't even cover most of the options. I would also like to see the nutritional info for the main menu items. It's hard to know if anything here is actually as healthy as they claim without that info. Also, when I asked about specific nutritional values (although the employee did seem knowledgeable) the info they gave me directly conflicted with the very vague nutritional range given on the actual menu. The dining area has always been clean. I like that there's a kids play area and now a rewards program. Thank you for adding the up charges for add ins to the menu. But I would visit a lot more if I could tell the nutritional components of what I was putting in my body ?.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kid play area and kids options.

Dietary restrictions: They have dairy free protein powder...and it doesn't taste like peas lol“
