I've been looking for a great restaraunt in Iowa city for months. One of the best rib eyes, or streaks, I've eaten. You must eat here if you get the chance. And Kali was an outstanding server.
I am a celiac and was pleasantly surprised that they have a whole gluten-free menu with lots of options! One of the servers said that she is a celiac, too. That was cool.
The only thing that made me nervous was the wooden cutting boards they served my gluten free food on. Not sure how they clean them, or if they keep them separate from gluten serving boards, but I know we should mistrust all wooden utensils due to their absorbency. These had obvious cut marks on them...

This was our Valentine's dinner this year and it was a great choice! Staff were attentive and kind, service was prompt and our drinks were never empty. The steak was tender and perfectly cooked. Looked and tasted amazing. The place was packed for a good reason. We will be back!
