In town for an alumni family reunion. Several generations including new freshman. Chilling out on the rooftop. Manager excessively and aggressively kicked us out. Wouldn’t explain why. Maybe we were too old? Briefly tempered our vibe but then had a blast at the Airliner!

Great place for watching sports, especially anytime Iowa is playing. Fun environment, generally friendly staff. Fun age range too - college kids thru their parents' ages, locals, everybody. This is not a place to get food, just FYI.

THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!!! We had our graduation party on the lower level this past Saturday night- IT WAS AWESOME!!! Alex ( manager) gave us the whole floor , he provided us with excellent staff!! - we brought in decorations , food and dessert and had the BEST NIGHT!!! We love coming to Joe's even on regular weekends and I can't express my gratitude to everyone who helped make our graduation night THE BEST!!!!!!

inside is kinda lame but the rooftop is great. Just watch out they will scam you. My friend bought a drink and then paid for it and within 2 seconds the bartender literally dumped it in front of him. Not very professional. 0 explanation.

I always have a good time at Joe’s, but especially when Sam is working. She is such a sweet and attentive server. Love that I have a bar where I feel safe and comfortable by myself as a young woman. Bar staff is excellent, and I always take people here from out of town! Love Joe’s and love Sam!
