This little Korean restaurant inside the mall is a gem! The hours are a little limited since they close at seven, but I was finally able to try it out. I love the dolsot bibimbap which has a bunch of veggies and rice and a stone pot. It was super tasty! I also got the tteokbokki (rice cake) which came with a bunch of random fried things and was also super yummy! Def the best Korean restaurant in town, I can't wait to be back!

the ajumma working was very nice and checked in on us every so often while we were eating! the food was delicious, we got the beef bulgogi, gimbap, and kimchi fried rice! the gimbap was the best i have had. the store is located in the mall, it is a bit hard to find but if you walk in and go back past the escalators and turn left it is right there!

The staff were incredibly helpful with their menu and how to open wrappings. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is their drink selections. The restaurant in the mall is on the small side. But I was able to get water there. Food was delicious. I heartily recommend this restaurant. I will be going back.

Regarding the 2 star review, I was prompted to make my own review. As someone who is Korean, the flavors and dishes here are very authentic. This is not fast food, so paying a few more dollars for a quality dish for a business that is clearly family owned is no big deal and something I'm happy to do. Not to mention, gochujang and kimchi are not always spicy and kimchi is actually often not. It seems the person who wrote that review only had one experience of Korean food and based this restaurant on that one experience. You also actually can do takeout if you ask. My girlfriend and I love going here and always have a great experience at this restaurant whether we dine in or out. The ambiance there is very nice and cozy as well, making you want to dine in if you have the time.

One of the best restaurants around, for sure. The thing is, they are made to be exactly like a Korean restaurant presently in Seoul. They are using a contactless payment method still, and that can be finicky at times. The food is first class Korean cuisine like in Seoul by an ajumma. The other Korean restaurants in town are too influenced by other cultures or just gone down in quality over the years. This one, I would go to every day if I could!

Great atmosphere, music and comfortable seating. If you are looking to eat good and affordable Korean food, this is the place to go. It is owned by two lovely old couple. Besides not being able takeout, you can easily order the meal with the QR code they provide and enjoy as much time as you need in the restaurant. The best part is that they adjusted to my spice level!

Very small place in Capitol Mall. Service was ok but largely hands off, depending on a scan code to order on cell phone. Atmosphere was small but booths available. My food was good Bulgogi had flavor but limited in meat and dependent on rice for most of filling. There was a lot of flavor in mixing Bulgogi sauce in dish, however I could have used some soy sauce. My husband was disappointed in the spare ribs dish as he barely had 3 bites of each bone of meat! Some bones hardly any meat and had lots of gristle. He was so hungry afterwards he had to go to Freddy's to get a double cheeseburger with fries, not kidding! So that's why the downgrade. Price for Bulgogi was $15.00+ and the spareribs was $20.00. Total came out to be 46$. Not worth it.

After the restaurant rebranded, their inside visuals are amazing. I love the low light ambiance with the Christmas songs paying. At least around the time I am writing this. The customer service is top notch. They provided water, give you brand new trays for the food you order and check up on how you are doing and how the food is. They really value your opinion and I appreciate the hospitality feeling I get here. Make sure you are here to take a seat since they don't do to go meals and whatnot.

Visited during lunch hour. Sign in front explains that they are self seating and you order using QR code at table. Sign also explained that this is the "pre opening" and that service might be slow. Ordered the Jeyukbokkeum #1. Took about 20 minutes to arrive. Server was friendly and briefly explained what the items were. The server did not return to the table. Main dish was sweeter in flavor and not spicy or peppery at all. I am not an expert on Korean food but I thought gochujang based dishes had some spicy flavor to them. The kimchi was also not spicy. There were some black colored beans and some seaweed pancakes on the side. There was a package of seaweed on the plastic tray. The dish came with rice and maybe a type of egg drop soup? Cost was $16 + tax & tip. The mini seaweed pancakes were my favorite out of all the items. The decor has been improved from the previous tenant. Window shades added, new counter and kitchen added. Jazz is playing over the speakers. I did not see an option to order carry out, maybe this is part of the "pre opening". In summary the food was cooked properly but seemed to be lacking traditional Korean spice like the previous Korean restaurant in this location. Prices have been raised from what they were at the original location in the mall at the other entrance. Hopefully things improve after the pre-opening.

I ordered the tteokbokki which came with many delicious toppings included. The staff were very kind and I enjoyed the pretty jazz music they had playing in the background.
