Pupusas are a hit or miss, the tamales are the best but the only thing they have I really enjoy. they did good on my first order but messed up on my second order. Ordered enchiladas & got something completely different. I’m from out of town so I couldn’t return by the time I noticed.

The cheese pupusa was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of cheese oozing out with each bite. The grilled chicken was tender and bursting with savory goodness. Hey everyone! I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Salvadoran restaurant in Iowa City. Let me tell you, the experience was top-notch! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food. The pupusas were absolutely mouthwatering! I couldn't get enough of the cheese-filled goodness. And the tamales? Oh boy, they were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Overall, I had an incredible time at this restaurant. If you're a fan of Salvadoran cuisine, this is a must-visit spot. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Stopped because i've never had El Salvadorian food before. A nice change from normal "Mexican" food. Food was delicious. I had 2 pupusas and the encebollado and they were awesome. The rice and homemade tortillas were very tasty as well. Next time im going to try some of the breakfast options.

I could eat this every week... I actually do. My favorites are grilled chicken, plantains and cream, and seafood soup. I never get tired of those choices. My husband loves all of the soups, especially the bean soup with beef. We eat the soups all year round and not just through the fall/winter, as they are that delicious.

Had this for takeout tonight. The yucca Frita con costilla was excellent, but as another reviewer said, they definitely skimp on the meat. They only gave 1 meat rib and a lot of yucca. Disappointing. The plátanos fritos con crema was very good. Highly recommend.
