Yesterday, I ordered my usual chori pollo 1 hour before close. It had been a few years having it since I moved back to Cedar Rapids, but I used to eat it all the time. This chori pollo was the best damned chori pollo I've eaten at this restaurant. This place has aged like fine wine and has only gotten better.

Our regular Mexican takeout place wasn't answering the phone one night so we tried this place. The only issue was that we couldn't find the menu online, so we had to order somewhat blind. I've added photos of the menu for others (taken as of June 2025).
The food is good, but it didn't surpass my other favorite place. It's a solid option, and I would eat here again.

I go to this restaurant all the time. But this will be my last time. I went today (Taco Tuesday) they only have hard shells for taco Tuesday. What really got me I asked for a green sauce. The lady said I gave you red sauce. I said can I have a green sauce she said there’s a charge of 0.69 cents. I asked may I speak with your boss, so that I can let him know thats ridiculous, she said yes and then came back and stated he will be in tomorrow. I see why it’s empty in there everybody at Taco Depot.
