We had Sunday morning breakfast around 9 and the restaurant was somewhat busy. Upon entering the restaurant you immediately notice the smell of dirty frying oil. Which should have been a warning flag for our upcoming breakfast. We had Bacon and eggs with hash browns and toast. My wife's poached eggs arrived swimming in a small bowl covered in water. Our toast wasn't toasted brown and our hash browns arrived tasting oily and cold. I informed the cashier about our food when we paid and we were told she would let the chef know. I don't recommend.

One of my favorites for breakfast for sure. But I about fell over with the newer prices. Very high. Pie slices small.Fruit cup... cut up cantelope onlyOver 5 dollars. I truly understand inflation and people still go , it's a good place. But many have stopped going too...also at many places due to the increase of eating out.And cost of having a plate of food muc h smaller in size now too .That's all..

Just like sit-down restaurants that I remember from the 60s. Casual, comfortable atmosphere. Food servings are abundant, service is friendly and efficient. They have these delicious, gigantic house made dinner rolls that are served with meals. Daily specials are desirable. On Monday and Wednesday, they give you a free piece of pie (your choice) when you buy an entree and beverage. We usually take our pie home because we're too full from the entree!The prices are good and we eat here often. We look forward to the jumbo shrimp dinner which is served once a month.
