Pints had the perfect blend of college student and alumni mix; drinks were reasonably priced and it wasn't so crowded that we couldn't move. It was the highlight of my 40th bday guys weekend!

Some nice staff, other staff need some help, really busy because of Iowa vs Michigan game. 4 staff left my husband stand at bar while they talk about how to make a shot and couldn't figure it out so never came back to my husband. Has no food. Floors were absolutely disgusting, your shoes stuck the entire place.

Last night was my first night in Iowa City and I’m so happy my friends brought me to Pints! The bartenders were fun and had amazing service! There’s a wide variety of drinks/liquors to choose from. The waitresses were amazing about make sure our drinks were full! If you get the chance to meet the owner Doug, you have too! Definitely one of the coolest people I’ve met! I’ve never seen a marching band stand on a bar and preform, but it was such an amazing experience to be apart of! Highly recommend checking out Pints!

This is a great bar if you want to listen to good music and just hang with friends. It's always the same crowd in there and the workers are nice. We like to end our nights here

TBH - Pints is one of the last true statesmen establishments remaining in this country! While I did not attend the University of Iowa, both of my sisters did and I can recall most (but not all) nights where I went out with them in downtown IC and ended up, at some point of the evening, arriving at this wonderful establishment! While they have a mecca of taps and wonderful staff, the true center point of this establishment is the dart board, and the tipsy college students dodging darts to make their way over to the bathroom! The only reason that I am giving Pints 4/5 instead of 5 was due to last graduation weekend. We showed up, ready to have an ICE COLD pint to wrap up our night of antics in IC, to which the bouncer asked us for a crisp $20 to enter this amazing establishment. Let me be real, I'd usually give my left arm to get to close my night at pints, but this time, asking for $20 just hit different. That doesn't even get me any beers just entry into the dart-dodging. Regardless, definitely go hit up Pints as a closer if you have the opportunity and get ready to enjoy some delicious brews!

My daughter and I went to Pints for a couple drinks we'd heard it was a nice place - the next day my daughter's card was charged at 3:47 pm for a $9 tip overdrafting her account - we've called numerous times and they keep saying they will get back to us to no avail, now my daughter's bank is investigating for fraud -OVER $9! Bartender's name was Johnny H

The absolute worst bar in Iowa City, the workers are extremely rude and I have seen many incidents where bouncers lose there cool and assault customers. The service is extremely slow, many of the games don't even work. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GOING TO PINTS!!!!
Everything you can want in a local beer bar. Great games, friendly locals and a bunch of ice cold beers on tap. Great place for a cold one.

Spacious can play pool and not have to get people to move away.... Nice dart set up as well.... Bartenders are good but need to polish up on tunnel vision when doing things behind the bar..... I'm not a regular there, but as a new person a simple greet (be right with you) goes a long way.... Keep it up Doug as you have an awesome place and a great hot spot!!!!!
