They provide "diner" style food.
Great food but quite a long wait. If you have a university of Iowa meal plan flex meals are also available here.

Grill station cooks are always rude. Sorry it's stressful to serve a lot of people but you dont have to take it out on every individual.
Grilled cheese on sour dough bread is a great deal for the money. And you can add veggies on the grill for a unique sandwich. Yum!
Half Alfredo and half marinara pasta is the way to go!
All about the philly and waffle fries!
On top of that, some of the employee's don't exactly have the best attitudes.

As much as I consider The River Room a great resource at Iowa. They always close early and they never stock condiments/coffee.
Double cheeseburger is where it's at!
They offer pretty much anything you want and it's made right when you order it. They also have pizza slices and sandwichs pre-made in case you are in a hurry. You can pay with U-Bill too!
Make your own pasta or the (secret menu item) spicy chicken sandwich are the best
Enjoy your meal as you overlook the Iowa River or take it on the go!
