We came on a quiet Friday night and had no trouble finding seating. The menu is simple, but everything is done right and the meats are cooked fresh! We got the chicken wings, baked Mac and cheese, candied yams, and corn bread. The chicken wings took a little while to cook, but the wait was well worth it when we received the steaming hot and perfectly spiced and crispy wings! Delicious! The candied yams were very good and the corn bread and Mac and cheese were both pretty good as well. We will definitely be back on a Thursday to enjoy the fried tacos! The person working also came out and checked to make sure everything was good. There was a nice personal touch to the food and the whole experience. We also appreciated the location because it gave our son a fun little area to play in and stay occupied. He loved the puppet show and the whole space was just very inviting and clean. Can't wait to come back and bring and some friends!

I ate here in February 2024 and the food is amazing! The fried chicken is some the best I have ever had. The flavor is so unique. The corn bread is sweat and fluffy, a must have. For corn on the cobb they serve the little sections so they are easier to hold, and they are also uniquely spiced. I had a side of mac and cheese and loved the flavors of the cheese. Would definitely go back, would definitely recommend!!

Very poor service, never received our food, didn't get a full refund because they were "unable" to take our tip out of the till.... Was very excited to try some good soul food & heard Royceann's was a good option. We ordered & were told that it would be 20mins because the meat is fried fresh, great! 45 minutes later we still didn't have our food & being the only ones that had ordered since we arrived, I walked up to the counter & asked how much longer it would take. I was asked what I ordered by the same woman who took my order almost an hour prior because nothing had been cooking that entire time. She looked confused & tried to blame someone else for the mix up even though she was the only one working. She told me we'd get the next food coming out that would be ready shortly. After standing at the counter for another 5 minutes she came back and said it was actually going to be another 15 minutes. At that point we wanted our money back, but weren't refunded our whole amount because she was "unable to take the tip out of the till". So they still got $7 from us for absolutely nothing. Messy, unorganized, and unprofessional. I'll never go back to this place and will never recommend it to anyone.
