Sam’s has the thin crust pizza that I love! Very good prices on a large takeout pizza. Good bar scene to eat in at. Is that your type of place because it’s mine!

We, along with some of my relatives, were in town from out of state as my sister was in the hospital. When returning to my sister's house after being at the hospital all day, we needed some carryout food for dinner. I had found Sam's via a google search for pizza and the reviews looked good, so my SIL, wife, and myself ran over to Sam's and placed a carryout order.The restaurant/bar was clean and welcoming, a bit old school, which was good. We had a drink or two while waiting for the pizzas.The pizzas we ordered were a thin-crust Special, and a half and half Canadian bacon/sausage and onion. Our waitress (sorry, didn't catch her name) was very accommodating and attentive. The pizzas were quite good, and fed 7 of us! I wouldn't describe them as overloaded, per some of the previous comments, but toppings were very appropriate. I thought the pricing was fair and would highly recommend this place. We were pleased, and this experience was positive. I will order from here (or come in) again when in town.

They really put on a lot if topping, especially the meat Marvel and Taco pizza. Parking is difficult you have to find a lot where there isn't permit parking and then there is parking meters. But once navigating the parking you will be rewarded with a wonderful pizza.

Wow, if you plan on ordering a 10" pizza and expect to eat it all alone, good luck. I got the Taco pizza and my husband got the carnivore with a ton of meats with Canadian bacon, sausage and pepperoni. The toppings were excessively plentiful and delicious, however, I couldn't finish even half! We got the thin crust, which was crispy the way I like. And, we got the garlic toast, which was also excellent. The next time around, we will split a 10" rather than ordering 2 pizzas that we expected to be personal sized. It was a bit pricey, but the food was great!
I have ordered two times this year, delivery. The last one was so bad because of delivery driver I went through my records. Contacted GrubHub and they said a Sam's employee decided to deliver instead of a GrubHub person. It's unfortunate I can never order from here again.

Stopped in last Friday with my 6yr old son before the Iowa vs Penn st. meet. Put in order at 5:40pm for myself and my son. 7pm rolls around and still NO food and waitress had not been back even for refills!! Ask to speak to a manager, male, beard, white guy, he seems clueless as to what's going on. Finally at 7:20pm our food arrives at our table, ice cold, and boxed in to GO boxes!! Absolutely worst pizza ever tasted by FAR!! Even my 6yr old son who being from Chicago LOVES pizza said it tasted like cardboard!! Complete waste of our 2 hours before going to the wrestling dual!! Avoid at all cost!

Just had a large Chicago style Sam’s Pizza delivered. We order with mushrooms, onions, spinach and sausage. It was perfect - hot, on time, and so so good! We’re been eating Sam’s Pizza for over 30 years and it never disappoints!
