Shakespeare's reminds me of some of the old pubs in the 80's, which I do enjoy. The food was great! I had the Stripper Chicken Melt, my partner had a shrimp pasta dish. It does get loud, and seeing how it is a pub some of the coarse language from the other patrons makes it not so kid friendly. The place was pretty busy and the service staff were great.Kid-friendliness: Depending on the clientele that are dining, the language can be a bit mature for young ears.

Taco Tuesday was my first experience- as part of a group that expanded to 12, it was great food but not great for socializing. Loud Tv's, many people waiting for a table and tacos - at least it was memorable!

The smoked wings here are fantastic, hands down my favorite wings in Eastern Iowa area. The beer selection is right in the sweet spot, the servers are generally excellent and very welcoming, and it’s got a casual sports bar vibe where it’s about the food and the company- but it’s nice to have some games on too. I wish I could comment on other menu options but I can’t resist the wings so it’s all I can comment on, all their sauces are good but the Carolina gold is the standout ImO

We've never eaten here but every time we're in the area it always smells so good so we finally had time to go and oh my goodness I wish we knew about it sooner!! Absolutely everything was amazing!!! We ordered three half size appetizers, cheese balls, onion rings,jalapenio poppers- love you can mix/match half size orders, with ranch and first off the ranch is AMAZING (we bought some to take home) but everything was delicious. I ordered a burger with side salad and my daughter a wrap with fries and we both agree everything was 10/10+! Prices are very fair- especially for quality and taste. Service was great as well and the atmosphere amd overall feel was very relaxed. We will definitely be making it in on a regular basis as well as pick-ups on no cook nights.I can't say enough good things and everything is seriously a 10/10! A must try- you won't be disappointed!!I seen they even have events at times we will be watching for too.
