Short's Burger & Shine is a burger joint with a great bar, offering one of the best burgers in Iowa City. The lettuce on the burger was weird, but the hand-cut fries were perfectly cooked, albeit too salty. The server seemed disinterested but overall, it was an okay experience with a fair price for the quality. The cheese curds appetizer was overcooked and greasy. Despite some drawbacks, it remains a decent value for a good hamburger in Iowa City.
