I work around the block... I used to love going to subway in Iowa City and went there consistently... Just seems like its kinda on the downhill path. I went there in 2021 and it was super nice and stocked... Now the chip shelf is empty, They only take cash only and something seemingly always isn't working.... Just a shame. I do Hope it gets better because it is one of my fav places to go :)

Don’t waste your money here. They don’t let me order and they let me get out, if I don’t leave they will call policeman. I never see a business like them and I am not sure if they have manager here or not. The service such a joke!!! I hope the owner pay attention with their workers. I will never come back!!!!!!!

I walked in and there was nobody there. Once we got up to the counter a lady appeared from a backroom. I knew what I wanted and started my order. My friend hadn't ordered from subway in a while and needed some time to think. I had to suggest to the employee to finish my order. When she was ready to check my sandwich out she told my friend that my order was the last and she was going to shut down the register (like a full hour early). When I said my friend needed more time she half said to me "I don't understand what's so difficult. You choose a meat and cheese and you go." SO INCREDIBLY RUDE! My friend skipped out on Subway and honestly I should've just walked out without the sandwich. I should've looked at the reviews before going because I don't want this store to make another $1.

Black lady who is the so called manager will ignore you and won”t serve you if you black from what I was getting I guess but she will serve other” people.Not cool at all, I was respectful and just wanted to grab something quick to go she just wouldn’t service me. But the other guy had to make my sandwich since she the manager was being completely ignorant scrolling/texting on her phone like why are you in your phone when I”m asking you to make my sandwich?!

We went into Subway to order & he served us bread that had mold on it. Been here before but thought to come back & give them a try. Never again!!! I would give them zero stars if that was possible!!!!

Food tastes good when it’s correct, but half the time when I order a sub on the app they’ll not put on like half the things I request, even the things I paid extra for, and didn’t even cut the footlong in half or toast my sub like I asked for. Also dining room is just randomly closed so I couldn’t even find all this out until I got home. Tough scene (good prices tho I must say I will likely still eat here another day)

Too slow for no reason. The lady asked me for the bread and protein and whether I wanted it toasted, and then proceeded to do the same thing with all 5 people behind me, leaving my sandwich on the counter to get cold. Then she asked me for veggies, and proceeded to do the same thing with all 5 people behind me instead of checking me out. I had to wait for 30 mins for a fastfood sandwich.
