The service is always fast when I’m here. The queso is always hot and the salsa is always good. I always order the same meal, but I’m always happy with the result. Love this place!!
Feel bad about giving them 4 stars as all other reviews are 5 stars, but somebody has to keep it real.
Ordered the choriqueso dip on my first visit & it was decent, just a tad bit more grease than other Mexican restaurants. Also, I scheduled the order for pickup earlier in the day and when I arrived to pickup the order, I still had to wait at least 10 minutes for them to prepare it. Which would’ve been understandable if the restaurant was packed, but only the employees...

Tequila grill is hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had in the Iowa city/coralville area. The prices are extremely reasonable and service is extremely quick and the food comes at an excellent quality. If you’re in Iowa city and craving Mexican food definitely come to tequila grill.
