The pizza is Iowa pizza, so take it or leave it - it’s a preference thing.
The Italian beef was spot on, with a fantastic giardineria and ultra crispy fries.
The building was adequate, with plenty of space to accommodate a 25+ person group.
The restrooms were atrocious, hence the low atmosphere rating. It’s a bar in a college town, so I get that - but was not what I wanted to walk into when washing my hands after dinner.

My order for carry out has been wrong 3 times in a row now and always takes MUCH longer than they tell me it will. It’s super packed and bathrooms are filthy. If you aren’t in your early 20s party era, this isn’t the place for you. Servers are usually friendly, but not always fully clothed (which is appreciated in food service) and not very knowledgeable about the menu. Pizza is okay, regular crust is pretty doughy and lacking flavor. Toppings are fine but sometimes just plopped in the middle and not spread out. Cheese curds and ranch are fantastic!
Parking: Not very good parking, you’ll probably end up circling the block for a metered street spot. Free parking Sundays.

This place has been a fixture at UofIowa for decades. Menu has drastically slimmed down from days gone by, but we enjoyed the pizza & burger. Expect College service, waiting 45 minutes for our food, plus they were out of several selections on the menu…& move-in weekend was just getting started.

Best taco pizza! Their salsa is fantastic! Service was great! The place could use a good update. Booth benches are hard as the padding has warn out over time. The floor is super sticky. Restrooms are ok, better than usual bar restrooms, however there is graffiti all over the stalls and my 10 year old daughter had a LOT of questions
