I've had a good experience every time I have eaten at The Dandy Lion.
Dietary restrictions: I have Celiac Disease and have never gotten sick after eating there. Staff are always very accommodating to my dietary requests. They have gluten free bread...it's always nice to have toast with my omelets.

The Dandy Lion is hands down one of my favorite brunch spots in Iowa City. Whether I’m sipping on their Vietnamese coffee (a must-try!) or enjoying a mimosa with friends, it’s always a great time here. The food is consistently delicious, and the cozy, cute diner vibes make it the perfect spot for a weekend brunch.

And beautiful atmosphere with tons of people from downtown, Iowa city, coralville, etc.
Lots of staff, lots of customers, and in a very populated area so in the mornings it's very full.
Very warm cozy place with honey-like wood and lots of booths.
There are also chairs to sit on while waiting for a table to open up!
