What a fun upbeat place. The decor is unique and a very spacious area. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They do not serve food but you can bring your own snacks and food in. Fun cute space. The only downfall I see is the parking is difficult.

Visited last night for a book club and this might just be my new favorite spot! The drinks were amazing and amazing to look at, and I loved the variety and extensiveness of the menu for both alcoholic and NA options. The servers were attentive and efficient. The vibe of this place was impeccable--the plants, the seating, all of it. I loved that you could BYO snacks (we brought popcorn), but I was pleasantly surprised that they did have a few little snacky items (think pretzels and macarons) available for purchase. I'll be back for sure!

I didn't order food, just came for a few cocktails while staying across the street at the Chauncy. Loved this place! The cocktails were supurb, bartenders friendly and knowledgeable. Great service at the bar! They were able to suggest drinks based on your individual preferences.

It wasn't especially busy, but the seasonal drinks were really good.Drinks averaged about $15 each for what we were ordering, but well prepared with excellent service. Didn't try any food during the visit, but would love to come back again sometime in the future!

The first time I walked in to The Green House, I knew it was for me. Just far enough off the ped mall area in downtown that it seems completely tucked away, the vibe is calm and the natural light, plants, and plant-themed decor make it unique in the area. The cocktails are not only delicious, but also beautiful, and they have a variety that is uncommon. The menu features some seasonal cocktails, as well as signature cocktails, wine, beer, kombucha, and shrubs. Be sure to take a look at the season cocktails. The bartenders take care to make drinks that really draw you in. The Green House may not be the place that I frequent the most, but it might be my favorite bar in the area.

VERY cool cocktail lounge. Signature drinks are outstanding. Mixologists talented and personable. Across from Pioneer Cooperative. A little off the beaten path but one of our favorite Iowa City experiences. Don't have food so bring your own snacks.

Wow! We had such an amazing time! The drinks were incredible and creative, the atmosphere was chill and inviting, and the staff was even better! Claire and Camryn are wonderful additions to this bar! They gave us many local recommendations for our weekend (we are visiting for a comedy show) and they helped us pick drinks we would love. Would 100% recommend and return!

Such a peaceful, relaxing environment! The plants are amazing. And there's a "Little Free Plant Library"! You can take a cutting, and leave a cutting! Brilliant idea. I'll be coming back. Refreshing beverages are served here, too!
