I come here regularly for my froyo needs - tried a few places in town but this is def my fav. Personally i like the tart flavor and usually combine it with something sweeter like strawberry or chocolate. They have a wide range of toppings too, so you can really customize.
Tip: if you come here regularly get the stamp card, tuesday is double stamp day so you earn free treats faster!
On a side note i love the art on the exterior walls, makes the place stand out and gives it a fun vibe. Worth checking out if you're craving a good frozen yogurt!

I love yotopia, it's priced quite expensively though. It's really good for frozen yogurt though, and they have lots of add-ons for the froyo.

One of two frozen yogurt spots in the area, and while the froyo is super tasty, it is definitely very pricey for what it is. Great treat once in a while but hard to justify to your wallet

My daughter is a college student and has eaten here a couple times and likes it very much. We drove past one evening and stopped there. They have a large variety of froyo and toppings. However, the frozen yogurt was so soft it wouldn't hold it's shape. I had 2 flavors and my daughter as well. It was only 50* out and by the time we got to the car it was soft soft the two flavors were nearly combined. For the price we paid (per pound) -- was expensive and so for me it was wasted money. The yogurt was way too sweet, especially combined with the toppings. My coffee ice cream has so little coffee flavor I questioned if I got the right one (I did.) The salted caramel was OK. I did like the brownie bite toppings and crushed waffle cones.
The whole shop was dimly lit. I realize it was dark outside but I had to up the brightness in the photos.
The girls working the shop were nice and one asked me if I had a question about anything and also she helped a young buy try a sample before purchasing.
Parking: My husband had to drop us off and come back for us.

I always stop here before heading in to work and love how workers are so kind and welcoming. Always appreciate everything is always fresh and the nice conversations. Never felt uncomfortable here. Def recommend people to come here?

Absolutely the best froyo in town. I have tried lavender flavor today and it is great! I can definitely taste the difference in quality compared to some other froyos. Employees are always welcoming to customers and they offered me a sample of another new flavor (I think name is Taro), that I also purchased because it is delicious. You guys made my afternoon ? my suggestion is using natural flavors as much as possible, but even without it still tastes good, probably the quality of dairy portion makes huge difference.

Yotopia is an Iowa City staple! They have delicious flavors & toppings made with local dairy and do collaborations with other local businesses. There are so many options for toppings and they always have non-dairy flavors and a tart flavor (unflavored/unsweetened), so there is something for everyone. I also love that they are woman-owned, and do fundraisers for local community organizations. I first had Yotopia years ago as a student, and I missed it when I moved away! Now that I am back in town, I bring all my friends and family here when they visit. Even our dogs love coming here to grab a pup cup! We 🩵 Yotopia!
