At Trattoria Buon Gusto, I especially enjoy the food and chatting with the chef. On a recent date night, my spouse and I loved every bite of our house salad and the chicken primavera with veggies in a white wine sauce. The chef knows just how to make the garlic sing but not overwhelm. So glad we saved room for their chocolate cake!
I had been wanting to try Trattoria Buon Gusto for awhile so tonight we drove up from Moville for my birthday dinner out.
We went early getting there around 5:30 and got waited on promptly. I was hoping they would have spaghetti carbonara and they did. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. I had the Linguine de Mare, it had large shrimp, clams, green mussels, and calamari rings. It was perfectly prepared.

Trattoria Buon Gusto offers authentic Italian cuisine in a small town setting. The friendly staff serves tasty dishes, with great flavor in every meal. The **waitress** is very attentive, and the **chef** made rounds throughout the restaurant asking how things were, giving specials and visiting a bit. The **food** was awesome and the **wait** was acceptable. This **restaurant** is an absolute treasure. The **appetizer, entree and dessert** were all superb. Trattoria Buon Gusto is a must-visit spot for a delicious and satisfying culinary experience.
