Junkyard Cafe/ Chitty Chitty Bean Bean

Went in to have something to eat, ordered just a cheeseburger and fries, waited for a least 15 minutes, asked the server what the deal is on my meal told me be 20 minutes. Sorry not going to wait an extra 20 minutes. RIDICULOUS! Told me have one fryer and one cook. Seen a female employee sitting down eating and not doing anything. I just canceled my order and paid for my drink. STAFF DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR THE LONG WAIT, RIDICULOUS. When will you ever step things up, not make customers wait so long. I'll just go somewhere else.

Excellent food, friendly environment. Would highly recommend if you're passing through. Perfectly cooked bacon and hash brown.

Huge portions, breakfast all day, friendly attentive staff. Prices are very reasonable.

Always friendly service. Though service can be a bit sketchy at times. Food is consistently good. Only once did I come on a Friday night for the fried fish which was obviously frozen and was just awful!Now, you know me. I'm honest about things. You need a front of the house manager. Servers need to have defined sections and not be running from room to room. Should have no more than 4-5 tables each. You know you are going be busy Sundays after church and I'm sure there are other times when you are consistently busy that you should make sure you have sufficient servers. Love you all though. You make a difference in the community.

Really great breakfast can be found at the Junkyard Cafe - and anytime of the day too. Their scramblers are so good! Friendly folks and a place where Vets are always welcome. If you are a Veteran make sure you sign their wall of honor! Their wait staff is so friendly.

The staff are always friendly and responsive, the food is always delicious and the coffee drinks are always amazing! We are especially fond of the desserts and always make a point to take cinnamon rolls, pie, or cookies home with us to enjoy later!

You will get service with a smile every time! They care for you and your experience.

My husband and I stopped here while shopping a couple of estate sales. What a great place! My husband got the tenderloin sandwich with tater tots and I got the barracuda omelet. Both were fantastic and the waitstaff were great, too.

Stopped out of the blue. Place looked nice we were hungry. Very good service and good hot beef sandwich. We will be stopping there again

Awesome Place To Have Breakfast - Good Old Home Style Cooking Made Fresh - Very Good Service - Will Have Breakfast There Everytime I'm In The Area!

The waitress is awesome. I'm allergic to butter I asked for no butter. Everything had butter on it. I will never walk in that established ever again. My daughter had the Philly cheese steak without cheese was okay. But the fries were greasy and very salty. And I never got my pancakes.

My order wasn’t correct but food was still tasty. Fun little cafe.

This was my first time eating here. I ordered the Studebaker with no tomatoes, which is a burger that has grilled cheese used in place of a bun. The bread for the grilled cheese was almost crouton hard, and the bacon was so hard and flat you could snap it. Then, upon opening it, guess what I find......a tomato. This is all on top of the fact that my drink was empty from almost 2 minutes of me being there until I left and I was never given a refill, and the restaurant wasn't crowded or busy at all. While paying, I asked if they gave out refills. He said "Yes, would you like one?" Of course I declined as I was on my way out the door. The only reason this is 2 stars instead of 1 is because they gave my daughter a replacement burger after accidentally dropping her plate on the floor.

We love our weekly visits to the Junkyard all the time because the food and service are always exceptional, but we were especially touched by the thoughtfulness of the owners when we shared the news of our engagement today. Thank you for making this one of our favorite local businesses!
