2024 Update: Still the best! Kim and Dana have taken over the reins and have continued to have top notch service and food! (Try anything in the brown sauce if you need a warm hug!)My husband and I love having lunch dates here while the kids are in school!

The absolute best Chinese food I have ever tasted! Tong and Chantelle are amazing cook and host and the food is always spot on! I have never had a bad experience. Most take out orders are ready in less than 20 minutes which makes it a great place to pick up lunch! The lunch portions include an appetizer and soup. Another favorite is Sechuan Shrimp or Chicken. You can get it ranging from 0 to 5 stars. I prefer 2. Just enough to warm you up! Even my 2 year old loves this place! When we pull up she starts chanting, "Egg drop soup! Egg drop soup!" It is small enough that the service is very personal but big enough that you don't feel like you are sitting elbow to elbow with the table next to you.

Take out Sesame chicken overcooked could not chew ….Hot and sour soup was like a broth ……Very small serving of rice donot order either of these …..Today Tuesday take out ……very disappointed

Kind of ridiculous for takeout wait was 1 hour and 25 minutes for a chow mein and 3 piece crab rangoon. We used to love ordering from here but everytime we call and order the wait time is ridiculously long.

Use to love to eat here but the last order I got from there was horrible!!! Ordered the House Lo Mein and the meat was over cooked badly. Too much meat not enough noodles. Don’t think I will be going back.

Great Chinese food and ambience, and outstanding service! Very nice to have this caliber of restaurant in Jefferson!They are busy here for a reason! We will definitely be back!

Arrived at Peony’s at 1:45pm. Asked if we were good for lunch. Woman looked from what she was doing to a clock above and said they’re getting ready to close, so we could order food to go. No smile. Website shows closing time as 2:30pm, giving us 45 minutes to dine in. We left. Business SOP needs work. If you advertise as Open for business and prefer not to be open, you should adjust hours.

I will forever give this place the best review I can come up with.The food, the family, the atmosphere, I worked here for one Summer back in 2012 and ever since I've always based all my opinions on similar restaurants from these guys' menus. Quality food, quality experience and always worth every cent. They deserve so much more than I can ever give. Thank you Chantel, Tong and Kim for giving me years of great food and laughs.
