Pretty Good Coffee. I love the idea of a Coffee flight. Let's you choice four different types of drinks. I got the Berry Blast, Campfire, Salted Caramel and Chocolates. My favorite is Salted Caramel. I highly recommend Blue Bean.

Well lit, bright atmosphere. Lots of sunlight. Most tables are in the middle of the room or adjacent to glass walls without outlets.Coffee is good but could use more traditional options vice sugary options.Pricey.Employee discipline is lacking. At one point all 3 employees were behind the counter on their cell phones. Could be seen eating food, drinking, playing with cell phones and not washing their hands in-between serving customers. Would drop off drinks at a table then pull out their cell phone to play on it while walking back to the counter. Also, who wears sweatpants to work?

Staff is great (Ankeny) - one of the ONLY places where you can have a latte flight in the Des Moines metro and possibly the state. Love it! Go - and bring your wifi work with you -

Great atmosphere here and good crowd. Well lit, plenty of outlets. When I need to get out of the office or just want a change of scenery, this is one of my go to’s.Barista’s are very friendly as well.Avocado toast is fantastic.

The food and the espresso were wonderful! We did a toast flight and an espresso beverage flight. The toast had a fun variety and the bread was lovely. The espresso flight was also a fun treat. They are on the sweeter side, but lots of festive, fun options with a good espresso flavor. My favorite was the S'mores latte. The catch is that it took 40 minutes for us to get our drinks and toast. A little long for a coffee shop stop in my opinion. They may have lost our order, but I noted others commenting on the wait. It's also on the pricier side - $15 for espresso flight and ~$14 for the toast. A cold brew is ~$7.

I love being able to try a variety of options and they were all great. The staff is very helpful and just overall the atmosphere is just lovely. Thanks!Vegetarian options: Nearly every option is vegetarian and most are or could be vegan.

INCREDIBLE. I ended up visiting 3x in my first week and look forward to revisiting. It's bustling! Large open space, the choices to order are endless and everyone was so willing to cater to my friend who couldn't drink caffeinated beverages. All of the foods were incredible & so fun to share - the flights are the most fun, and again, the staff is so incredible with answering all questions & helping you make the most of your visit. I will be revisiting a thousand more times & look forward to the friendly service, fast prep, and incredible drinks - both seasonal & normal menu items!!

The food and coffee are both delicious. That said, it's all expensive.

Love the location in Johnston Town Square! It is within easy walking distance from my home and being near the splash pad and the yard, we can grab coffee and take it out to enjoy while the kids can play and run. There is outdoor seating, indoor seating, and you can reserve and rent work spaces and meeting spaces. They offer coffee, tea, lattes and other hot and cold beverages. You can order flights either pre-made or make your own and try a few if you can’t make up your mind. My favorite is the Hawkeye with oat milk, a simple drink, but there are very unique and creative and seasonal options available. They offer treats and toasts too… bars, muffins, scones and toast flights. The avocado toasts are my favorite but they offer some sweet toasts as well - peanut butter and banana, fresh berries with cream cheese… seasonal choices available. The prices are a little higher than your typical coffee stop, but the options and the uniqueness are worth the price. The weekends seem to be busiest and we have waited as long as 15 minutes for our drinks and toasts. Weekday mornings have not seemed as busy and wait has been closer to 5 minutes. Great addition to this side of Johnston.

Nice place to try some new coffee drinks and toasts. The staff are nice and sweet, the atmosphere is clean and quiet, the coffee machine is a fancy la marzocco, though coffees are more on sour or acidic side, which I don’t prefer. The strawberry cake is surprisingly better than I thought. Not too sweet, cute look. The food display is elegant. Would like to try others.
