I was completely disappointed by my experience here.
I came with a larger group, but the restaurant was not exceptionally busy while we were there. Our order was only taken after about 15 - 20 minutes.
Food didn't come out for another 30 or so minutes, at which time they didn't bring my order out, but didn't notice either. We had to flag them down for them to notice, and brought out my (now) lukewarm food.
The southwest chicken wrap I got was disappointing as well, it was about 50% rice and not flavorful. The fries were good.
However, I asked if I could get more sauce with the food I ordered. They said sure. But somehow, I never received anything until we got the check.
Not much good to say about the experience, especially given it was a not very busy lunch hour, and the group I was with had to return to work. Pricing was also not inexpensive.

Food and drinks were good. Elevated casual fare. The patio was full and the indoor space was very comfortable. We sat at the bar and had great service and great cocktails from the bartender, Nate. We had the pork chop dinner and a flatbread. Both were really delicious! We usually end up taking food home but it was so good we didn't want to stop eating! This was a really nice place to unwind and relax after a long day. We will definitely come back!

At first I thought this was a bar and grille but was pleasantly surprised. American fresh food that was very flavorful! I had the Beet Salad and the blend of flavors were perfect! They have a lot of vegan and gluten free choices and you can add a protein, (I added chicken to my salad) if you prefer. Would definitely go back and the service was very responsive and friendly.

Can't speak a downfall on behalf of the food. Props to the cooks/ chefs, they definitely know their trade! Flavors were bursting and an overall soothing atmosphere to accompany. I'm a New Yorker and gotta say it's hard to find something to light up my taste buds in a city like Des Moines. So the food definitely did it for us. I gotta say I had high hopes walking into a recent restaurant in town, especially on our first marriage anniversary. We're not too big on eating out as my wife can cook up about anything delicious. Although, we had our experience on Monday night (7/21). One of the gals working till close was abrupt about reminding us about kitchen closure in the remaining 15 minutes. I've done sales most of my life and have worked food industry and can assert I can treat a customer substantially better. It didn't stop there as the same gal decided to bring our ticket to the table before we asked for it. My reaction was shoving my last bites down and headed out the door before the food made it down to my stomach. We thanked her and were satisfied with our flavors. And I understand the stress, agitation in the restaurant industry but customers drive business. Which is something i'm willing to say didn't par up to our experience and should be addressed or considered for the overall experience of the visit.

Make reservations. We started with cocktails and were pleased with flavors, but alcohol was light. Korean short ribs and spinach and artichoke potstickers were excellent. Loved the roasted pear and blue cheese flatbread, but was light on blue cheese. Hangar steak was very flavorful and you can't go wrong with the parmesan fries. Needed salt and pepper at the table. Staff was average but had issues with the Toast platform. Will return.

First time trying this place! Food was pretty good, but my husband's fries were cold. Ordered the Wagyu Burger and the Hanger Steak. Drinks took awhile to get..they said the bar was backed up but we were seated by the bar and staff looked to be talking, laughing and taking their time on getting items from bar to tables! Service was very slow, but our waitress explained specials well. I recommend trying the DSM Sour!
