We had the Friday special. Pulled pork with fries and a drink. It was very good. Great smoke flavor and the assortment of BBQ sauces were amazing. The pickles and vinegar onions were great condiments. We also tried the bbq donuts. They were amazing. Looking forward to going back on a Thursday to try their baked potato special.

Decided to give ShortE's a try. We got there a close to their closing lunch time(45 minutes til lunch close) They have a great menu to choose from. The Ribs were good. I feel like since we got the last of the lunch hour they were a bit dry-ish. Our server had trouble getting our order correct since they didn't have 2 full racks of ribs. She had to redo our order, which was fine. She didn't get the sides with the right ribs and didn't put the extra Texas toast on our order. When our order was brought out and I asked she said she could ring them up now...by then I was slightly annoyed so I just said forget it. Our sides were very good. The baked beans and mac and cheese hit the spot. My daughter said that the brisket tacos were fabulous!

Was so excited to try this place out, but the food was horrible. We ordered the shorte’s fries for an appetizer with brisket - we thought we got pulled pork and were okay with it but it was actually just mushy brisket. For our meal we shared the Burnt ends platter with brisket also and cheesy corn and Mac and cheese. The burnt ends were mushy, pulpy garbage. Have never had any burnt ends like it. The brisket was also mushy and disgusting. We tried one piece of burnt ends and left the rest.
Ordered food at 11am on Friday Jan. 31st. I had the absolute displeasure of eating at ShortE’s, and let me tell you, I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. I ordered a chopped chicken sandwich, and within hours, I was hugging my toilet like it was my long-lost love. Full-blown food poisoning. But the nightmare didn’t end there—I gave the rest of the sandwich to my dog (after I threw up), and now he has worms. WORMS.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the fries were stale, tasting like they were cooked during the last presidential administration. They had that sad, chewy texture that only comes from sitting out for a full 24 hours. Honestly, I’d have had a better meal if I just licked the pavement outside.
Save yourself (and your dog). Eat literally anywhere else.

Ribs were good, nice cakey cornbread and brisket was super tender. Thin texas toast which i prefer thicker. We tried it first the first time for the kids eat free deal I heard about on Saturday. I called in our order for carry out and confirmed it was kids eat free. The lady I spoke with said she had to check about kids eat free for carry out and came back and said they could. I placed my order and got the total. When my husband picked up the food I saw we were charged for the kids meals and $14 more than what she told me. Thinking it was an accident I called back and they said kids eat free is dine in only. I let them know I had specifically asked when ordering and they said kids would be free. They said they would call back at the end of the night and never did. BBQ not bad but i wont return due to the customer service.
