So great to have such a high quality wine (and other things) bar in Johnston! Really classy place but also relaxed. Owner really knows his stuff about wine too. If you’re into Iowa craft beer, it’s one of the few places you can find pulpit rock, IFKYK.

We celebrated my husband’s 60th Birthday at The Cork and everyone had a great time. The service, food and wine were perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better party!

This place is an ABSOLUTE 10 out of 10! Serena, the manager is EXTRAORDINARY!! I felt so welcomed and invited! The decor, the ambience, the service, the expertise, the PATIO! I cannot say enough! I will come to The Cork again, again and again! I've never been to a better Wine Bar! I encourage anyone in Johnston and the greater Des Moines area to check it out, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Ths was our 1st time visiting and was impressed with the selection of wines. I had a flight of red and my wife had white wine. They selected the wines and we were very impressed with them. Great people waited and had time to explain the wines and other selections we could try. We will definitely make a return visit soon.

We hosted our daughter's graduation party here and we were so pleased with the service & the amazing space. The owners were easy to work with from booking the event to discussing all the details. The manager was unbelievably helpful, and personable making sure everyone had what they needed. I cannot recommend this place more for a private event or simply a place to enjoy a great glass of wine and flatbread.

First time visiting, and I'll be back. The ambiance is very cool. They have a decent selection of wine, beers, and spirits. Not much in the way of food options, but they have a few options for bites that can accompany your drink. Service is 10/10. Great place to enjoy some drinks alone or with a group.

Classy place with great ambiance and super friendly staff! I’m not even a big lover of wine, but they recommended a blueberry moscato that was unique and delicious! Love their live music nights, too! Check it out!

The owner Leif is so friendly and kind and provides wonderful recommendations, while keeping in mind prices and preferences. The patio is perfectly shaded for an afternoon glass, and the inside feels upscale and neat, without feeling stiff. Great place to relax and have a glass of wine with friends!
