This is my favorite dim sum restaurant in Des Moines for the last 12? years. Excellent food quality. Limited menu, but I still have sufficient choices. Big substantial delicious potstickers, pork ribs in black bean sauce, shumai, beef, shrimp or pork in rolled rice wrapper, a few bao, shrimp ball, chicken feet, bao. New pork ribs (also on regular menu) that fall off the bone '26. Saturday 11-2, Sunday 9-2. Friendly family-owned restaurant. It's a little hole in the wall. They do a lot of takeout. Yum!!

Wongs is my go to for takeout.
Great flavors, freshly chopped large chunks of veggies which are crisp and tender as well.
Potions are big.
Potstickers are huge and delicious.

I love this place, huge portions and they're always very nice about removing ingredients i cant have. Spend 50$ and ive got enough food for like 4 normal meals, more if im not starving. Comfort food. Plus they have Steamed Dumplings, not just fried! Steamed! Do u know how hard a time i've had finding a chinese food place that does steamed??

Sesame chicken doesn't taste like sesame chicken at all, no idea what it's supposed to be. Dumplings were acceptable, nothing special. Food was WAY overpriced

Food was okay. Ordered some BBQ buns and the dough was really dry while the meat wasn't as favorful as I thought. The egg drop soup was smaller than I expected but for the combo meal, it was decent enough. Fairly cheap for the price and the staff are incredibly nice! Would recommend trying at least once since everyone's palates are different.

Great service good food with great portions and a good price. Had the house special chicken with fried rice crab rangoon and egg rolls. Sour and hot soup
