I took my niece who was visiting from MA to Tuscan Moon for lunch. Friendly staff --especially our server. Everything was fresh tasting and nicely plated.

I always enjoy eating at Tuscan Moon. The staff are all very friendly and professional. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. I got the honey mustard chicken sandwich from the lunch menu and it was the perfect serving with the house made kettle chips. The prices were all very reasonable for lunch too.

The Tuscan Moon is a solid restaurant with an Italian flare, tucked away in an out-of-the-way location, Kalona, IA.
We had a 'couples' date and shared our sides: golden mushrooms, buratta, and salad. I had the 8oz beef tenderloin, rare. Everything was good.
We sat outside, and we were regularly pestered by flies, which was annoying. Not so much that we would have to move in doors, but enough to remember is 5 days later.
Considering the drive from Iowa City, I was hoping for something a bit more, but I can't say what.

Awesome place to go dine! Despite being out of the wine we normally get, they did have a really good other option which was fantastic! The food was utterly fabulous and the waite staff and owner were so friendly, informative and very good with their skills, experience and knowledge. They were just really, really down to earth nice people. We were quite pleased with everything including the ambience and decor, which just made our 5 year anniversary dinner all the more perfect. We highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic place! Came here from out of town and the food was spectacular! Our waitress was attentive and had phenomenal recommendations. Great outside seating too! Definitely recommend coming here!
The sauce in particular seemed canned. We we were not offered more tortilla chips. I has to ask to twice for napkins,and only given 2 more for a party of four. The waiter was inattentive,they were only three other parties in the restaurant. The lettuce was not fresh! We were not even thanked as we exited the restaurant.They are way better options in Kalona . Do not go to this one!
