Awesome place to go dine! Despite being out of the wine we normally get, they did have a really good other option which was fantastic! The food was utterly fabulous and the waite staff and owner were so friendly, informative and very good with their skills, experience and knowledge. They were just really, really down to earth nice people. We were quite pleased with everything including the ambience and decor, which just made our 5 year anniversary dinner all the more perfect. We highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic place! Came here from out of town and the food was spectacular! Our waitress was attentive and had phenomenal recommendations. Great outside seating too! Definitely recommend coming here!
The sauce in particular seemed canned. We we were not offered more tortilla chips. I has to ask to twice for napkins,and only given 2 more for a party of four. The waiter was inattentive,they were only three other parties in the restaurant. The lettuce was not fresh! We were not even thanked as we exited the restaurant.They are way better options in Kalona . Do not go to this one!
The dining experience was lovely. We had a very large party and the servers were wonderful. The food was good. My only complaint is that I have mobility issues, and there is no handicap accessible way to get in the restaurant. It is an old building and is not set up for wheelchairs. We made it work. However, if you are unable to use your legs at all, this is not the place for you.

Went here for my birthday tonight and it was unbelievably wonderful. It is such a relief to find find there are still restaurants that take pride in their food. We both got the ribeye steak, asparagus and potatoes (I got garlic mashed and he got sweet potato). We also got the carrot cake for dessert and the pork belly for an appetizer. Every aspect of this meal was perfect. It was like art. The flavors were exquisite. Thank you so much!

This is a nice local grill with some delicious food. The waitress was very friendly and took our orders with a smile. We started off with a shrimp bruschetta as our appetizer, which was very fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, we did have to wait a very long time before our entrees come. I got the mushroom pasta, which was really delicious, although it needed a little bit more salt. Overall I had a great meal here and would love to stop by again in the future.
Parking: Theres parking spots along the street in front of all the different shops, but there’s not many of them.
Wheelchair accessibility: There’s quite a few steps here and I didn’t see any ramps
