We have loved the Baggio's Italian Restaurant in Knoxville and are glad that they have opened a new one in Newton. The menu is the same and it is excellent. The Italian fare is genuine, excellent in quality, and well-presented. Given that they have only been open a week, they seem to have their act together. Went in with a party of 5. Everyone ordered something different and we got an appetizer order of Calamari and Stuffed Mushrooms. Everything was excellent! Can't wait to go back and try other items off the menu.Most of the sauces theybise are homemade, along with the desserts.
Pam and I took a short Jeep ride South to Knoxville for lunch today. We wanted to eat at Biagio's Italian Restaurant to see what they're like, as we will be having one open very shortly in Newton.Biagio's menu is vast, we were hungry and all entrees sounding good so we ask our waitress, she recommended the lunch special "A Taste of Italy". Which is roughly one half a portion of the regular meal of Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan and Fettuccine Alfredo. Our meals were insanely tasty....read full review
